Let Loose, Have Fun, Paint Like Crazy!

JOYFUL WATERCOLOR is a non traditional approach to painting for beginners, re-starters and intermediate painters who want to let loose, have fun, and paint like crazy.

The technique most often used is wet into wet watercolor, with tips and tricks to make successful paintings. We often paint without drawing and without reference photos. The results are loose interpretive renderings of the subject matter.

Classes generally focus on painting elements of the natural world including landscape and floral.

Sessions include a lesson, a step by step demonstration, student painting time, and individual help as the students desire. These classes are designed for people who have never held a brush, as well as re-starters and experienced painters. Classes include color mixing, suggested materials, and basic technique. Special effects are introduced to create pattern and texture.
